Contains twenty retail packs of 75g Coastline Droitwich Salt. Michelin Starred chef Brad Carter says “This salt is a taste of the English coastline!” Try grinding over fish, salads, or vegetables.
Droitwich Salt’s British heritage has inspired Brad Carter to develop this exciting range of flavoured salts so you can experiment in your home kitchen. Droitwich Salt seasoning blends provide the opportunity to use less salt while still imparting rich flavour.
“I have chosen these flavours for the salt because they are staple ingredients in my kitchen at Carters of Moseley. By adding these salts to your spice collection you’ll have a real slice of British terroir & a slice of Carters flavours in the heart of your own kitchen!”
– Brad Carter, Chef/Proprietor of Carters of Moseley
Droitwich Salt is sourced from one of the oldest and purest brine springs in the world. Droitwich Salt was historically celebrated for its great purity and today this pure and natural flavour still comes through.
The salt is harvested by hand at Churchfields Saltworks where the gentle process of crystallising the natural brine to pure salt is done using renewable energy.
Churchfields Saltworks re-launched Droitwich Salt in 2017, and won a Visit Worcestershire Awards For Excellence: Best Food Producer the same year. We won Best Sustainable Business Worcestershire 2018 at the Tourism Awards Hereford & Worcester, and in 2019 Charcoal Droitwich Salt won a Great Taste Award one star.
We are very proud that Droitwich Salt is Happerley Transparent, a supplier transparency scheme to show our customers exactly where their food is coming from. If you’ve ever wondered where the ingredients that go into Droitwich Salt come from, you can just have a look.
We are a SALSA certified manufacturer. SALSA stands for Safe and Local Supplier Approval; a nationally recognised food safety certification scheme for small businesses which demonstrates robust and effective food safety standards.
